A couple days ago Jackson and I sat down and we wrote letters to my brother, Craig. We traced Jackson's hand on the paper because he wanted Uncle Craig to see how big he is now. Jackson asked if Craig starts with a letter C or K. Letters C, K, G, J, and X are difficult letters for little ones to learn. But I was already just proud that he was asking which one it was. So I wrote Craig's name out on a different piece of paper. Jackson said he wanted to write Craig's name on the letter because Craig would be so happy. I was seriously not expecting what he wrote in the picture below! I am so proud of my little man. I wish everyone could have seen the ginormous smile on his face because of how excited I reacted when he finished the name. He was so happy about his writing that I thought he was going to break his face from smiling so big. I love how much Jackson wants to learn. He drives me crazy with the "why? why? why?" that happens from morning to night BUT I love it at the same time because he is learning so much and it makes me proud that he is so curious and he thinks about how things work and why it works that way. He goes around all day long saying "Bed. Buh Buh Buh. Bed starts with B!" "Kalyse. Kuh Kuh Kuh. Kalyse starts with K!" "Underwear. Uh Uh Uh. Underwear starts with U!" He says this about everything. I just know that I will treasure this sweet writing of Uncle Craig's name forever!
