Our family picture. Cutest little cowboy, coolest little astronaut, my very handsome vampire and I am not sure what I am. I thought I was a vampiress but Jackson says I am the mother from Tangled. He called me "Mother knows best".
My father in law stayed with us for a week. He came all the way from Wyoming. We had so much fun with him and I have lots of pictures for another post of our time with him. I'm so glad he got to be here for our Halloween activity and see the kids dressed up. It was pretty surreal for him to see his only child as a father of two. He's such a sweet man and my kids love Grandpa West!
Mommy and her babies
Daddy and his buddies.
This is on Halloween on Monday. The boys were quite eager to get going and were not very cooperative for pictures but we still got some pretty cute ones!
Sad little cowboy
Jacob comes up to me when he is sad, whimpering like a sad little puppy with lips puckered asking for kisses. I love it!
Jackson is very proud of my costume and he loves the sleeves on the dress :) He kept saying "Mother knows best so gorgeous!" My little 3 year old sure knows how to make a mommy feel good!
Our traditional Halloween dinner. This was our tradition way way way back when I was a little girl :) I love keeping traditions. Homemade Chili and Scones with butter and honey.
This part just kills me. My older sister is convinced that Jackson was actually meant to be hers. He is obsessed to the point of having anxiety over sorting, organizing and cleaning. He took all of his and Jacob's candy, sorted it. All the candy bars in one pile and then sorted by type of candy bar. So all the kit kats were in one pile, snickers in another, etc... Suckers in one pile, small hard candies, airheads, smarties, etc... All sorted into little piles. And if Jacob came over to mess it all up Jackson would shoo him away and yell "Jacob! That is a very big no no! Time out if you mess up my work!"Then he took each little pile and started lining them up and eventually made a big train track with all the candy. He was super excited and proud of his work!
Jacob thought it was great to sit inside the candy train tracks and Jackson is keeping a close eye on him making sure he doesn't mess up the masterpiece!
This is the most ridiculous picture! I have no idea what would possess me to share this scariness with the world. This is an exhausted mom with scary, crazy "Mother Knows Best" hair at the end of a long Halloween day and is trying her best to resist all the Twix bars! I failed! (head hung in shame).

Hee hee! It's funny that my sweaty nose and ocd passed onto your child :) Those are some serious organizational skills! So good for him though for counting and sorting. Tell him I am very proud of him :)
